True.
Thats what this video is.
Its also hilarious.
Some of you might make assosiations to some of these types, but as a GM i've seen and dealt with them all and more.Awesome video lol.
PS: I'm ridonculasly ill atm, but am working on the stuff for the website. I'm sorry. -
This Brings Mal to mind, the first time we got her into Raiding.
PS: MASS UPDATE INCOMING SOON.
sorry. -
So this week Blizzard went ahead and gave druids Flame Cyclone, Heroic Fire Leap, Scorpion Form, Flame Cleave, Flame Orb, Seed of Corruption, and Mirror Image.
Some of these spells you may know already, This had to stop.
Firelands was falling fast, and Once again the guild destroyed the first 5 Bosses in one night. With wednesday farm night done, the guild sat ready on friday for Majordomo Fandral Staghelm. Bringing a new healer to test, the guild ventured forth and began our fandral attempts.
- The first ended at 37% as we failed to keep check on the special attack counts and when we should change. picking ourselves up, we were ready for more.
- Attempt two was a good setup, as we flew through the Phases heading for the Kill. The seeds however, didn't go so well. one or two blew up mid raid and so we wiped. Sapps Iceblock allowed us a mass ress and we buffed up ready for another go.
- Attempt three went much better seeing an under 20% wipe. basically we messed up the orbs. Unbasically, we messed up the orbs.
- Attempt 4. wtf? The orbs spawned in the middle of the two sides. wow talk about wtf. With raiders being targeted by both at once it caused untold issues and we wiped.
OK, we had this. Buffed and ready, Noriss tanking, myself Ret - I called for Origin to MD pull. It started in Scorpion form and the group dps'd and healed like nuts as the cleaves got faster and faster. At 7 cleaves i told the group to spread and we held our ground in a circle around Noriss and the melee. Fandrals first, second and many leaps following seemed to like targeting healers, making this rather intensive at times. Avoiding fire well i called for melee to Kill the mirror images and then at 6 stacks we grouped up. Into Human form for a second, Fandral seeded us all and i reminded everyone to watch there Debuffs and get the F out of the group at 7 seconds or below. We Popped Timewarp here and used the more stable scorpion form to do some heavy damage. Doing exceptionally well the group moved into the Cat phase again. Fires this time seemed more frequent, and fandral started Hitting harder as his stacks grew from form changing. Moving back into Scorpion at 4 stacks, the healers popped a few CD's and really went for it. Scorpion being the time we could Burn, the Dps put there souls into it and really took some chunks out of him. 4 stacks, time to move. We shifted him back into Cat form, and He went Human first. Realising this was the Orbs the group spread out to into sets with sapp and Mal taking the one side and Origin and Maag taking the other. Orbs spawned and started channeling as Fandral went pouncing. Still nuking the boss, the orb teams switched really well and necroo took out the mirror images with Mal. Watching the dps fall, it was tempting to stay cat, but not paniking for once i realised we had to change still and at 5 stacks and 6% i called everyone in for Scorpion. Grouping up, the orbs fell away and the fires dissapated. The cleaves started to grow as the last few Fragments of the earth fell from the once great Arch Druid, Fandral Staghelm.
His son dead, His form altered, his legacy burning.
Whatever was left of the pureity that once filled his heart is gone. Replaced by a Burning desire to see Azeroth fall.
The arch Druid died long ago, and all thats left now is his ashes - carried away by the winds of Hyjal.
The Majordomo Fandral Staghelm, the Last lieutenant, is DOWN.
"You hear me Firelord! Your armys are Dead, your elemental plane is crumbling before you, and now NOTHING stands between us and you"
Prepair yourself Firelord, We're coming for you.

-
So. Where the F do i start lol.
We've been up to ALOT. FAST. and its showing no signs of slowing.
As i currently write the Bloodstriders stand at 5/7 in Firelands. How did we get there? Let me start at the beggining.
Spiders.
So we Turned up on Wednesday with a want to Kill Beth'tilak. With Shannox down a week or so back we were close to the spiders demise and we knew it.
First tho, its been a long time but Malania rejoined us to raid for the first time since ICC, and also after getting the go-ahead from her guildmaster, Kitty rejoined us for the Raid to.
With some old friends back in, we set off. But first on the Kill roster was Shannox again. So after Killing the endless crap to spawn him, shannox appeared and after one daft wipe, he met his doom. Now was Beth.
The trash cleared we arrived on the lair of The Spider Beth'tilak. Deatharoth getting away from spiders this week wasn't enough to stop the wormsong and as i quiver'd in my seat, we prepaired to down the spider. Setting Crouton on Drone duty me and Noriss were to ascend the web, with Kitty close behind. Other than that Sapp, Kunugos and Modern had the adds covered. I counted down and in we went. A perfect first round of adds set us up well, and we made it to the second big cast from Beth. Unfortunatly here we got two drones, and the power started to overwealm Crouton. Popping some Cooldowns he managed to survive and as me and Noriss ascended the ropes again we watched the raid slowly drop, one Player at a time. we simply didnt have enough taunts for the spinners, and the now oom healers were struggling hard. coming down into Phase 2, the six members left quickly bit the dust and we released to try again.
This time we made a switch. Kitty was to stay down as she had another taunt and could do some add melee before pouncing on the drone. Now I needed a hard Hitting player up top, Modern? Yh, that might be overkill. Modern it is. OK - attempt 2. This started well, and again the adds fell no issue, time to repeat it i said over vent. Unfortunatly repeat it we did. The adds fell fine and the spinners all came off the ropes fast enough. Unfortunatly once off the ropes they preceded to Kill the Players. We needed a spinner Tank. Release time.
Attempt three was ready to go, who was our Spinner tank? the Resident Hunter. With anyone who could taunt doing so, Kunugos and his pet were picking them up left right and center, with 1-2 making there way to players, they simply moved them to crouton and they died to aoe anyways. Spinners sorted. well that went fast, with the spinners not so much an issue, the healers had more mana and the drone was dead. the remaining dps helped the spiderlings while me, Noriss and Modern fought Beth'tilak. repeating the adds all three times, we enterd Phase two with the group topped off and ready to go, one spinner bit the dust by the tanks and sapp and Kunugos killed off the remaining spiderlings. Good, we were into Phase two with good mana and everyone alive. Time to Blow her up. The dps stacked up behind her with the healers, and me and crouton stood steadfast upfront getting... Kissed !?. I hate this boss. Eventually we got her down abit more and Timewarp went up. the Burn was incredible as the Players threw everything they had into Burning this spider down. 3,2,1% and DOOOOWWWNNNNN she goes.

Cheers from the guild. As we took the picture we realised, "Hay! were 2/7 now!"
Not for long...
We took a 10 Min rest and came back with only 30 Mins remaining. It was 23:00, and we end at 23:30.
Some were expecting us to leave it there. F that i figured...
FEET.
With only 30 Mins left i rushed the Raid to Ryolith. Blasting through the adds with one wipe - everything Pulled at once. Not supposed to happen :P.
So there we stood, now we had 10 Mins or so, and Ryolith to take down. Incase you wondering Ryolith was our nemesis, and the single reason we were not further in FL than we are. Ryolith or RNGolith as i like to call him, was very RNG. so much so that he denied us more then 5 under 5% Kill chances and SO MANY other ones. So after 3 Months of knowing the fight and RNG royally skrewing us, the Raid was understandably edgy to return to his Platform. That said, we knew the fight. Like the back of our hands we KNEW that fight. Talking through the systems we use with Kitty, and explaing basics to Mal who'd never been here before, we headed in. Mal, Kitty and crouton were dpsing the legs, i was tanking and everyone else was in dps/healer mode. Grabbing the add's quickly i Moved them around until the dps got rid of them, and by the first add sets deaths, Ryolith was on 40% armor. Good start. Carrying on, the dps on the legs controlled Ryo perfectly and we slowly picked off the remainder of his armor - the add's dieing fast. as ryoliths hp lowered we kept our cool and continued. 4 Mins left on the Clock. A little while later, ryolith came to a halt and sat down. His armor was off - and in Record time. This was it, i ran to pick him up as everyone gathered behind him. Tanking like hell, i popped CD's in unison, and i watched the glorius Heals come thick and fast. at the same time the dps were carving large chunks out of him and as i watched the hp fall, i got more and more nervous. Nerves Flaring we cheered like mad when - RYOLITH FELL.
We One shotted him, and we did it in under 10 Mins. Pictures were Taken and epic lootz were given out.
As the clock read 23:28 i ended the raid.

But was that the end? - of the Raid yes. Of the EPICNESS, noooo. XD
I'll skip over Friday - mish mash of a day. Onto Sunday!
BIRDS and WORMS.
So its Sunday night at 8:15 wow time, and everyone is ready and rearing to go. With Shannox, Ryo and Beth already dead we made our way to a boss we had not yet seen. The mightly Alysrazor. So far bosses had been pritty similar, Kill adds and avoid fire. This one however was a bit different. and to this day remains one of my favourate bosses in the instance.
Before we could fight alysrazor we have to clear some very odd but fun Trash. Which invloved two raid members riding giant firebirds in order to Kill eggs to stop adds spawning. during this the rest of us Killed two weird nightelf's that just happened to picking flowers in the area or something, and then the egg adds. after that the birds were slowly downed one by one. Turning birds on each other is fun!
So now we had an empty area with a lump of sad looking druids at the end, this didnt look much like a boss. Then in walked Fandral. i did a double take wondering if wed somehow broken the instance, before deciding it might be better to go up and wack at him with a stick. what? Alysrazor wasnt around, why not? :P Fandrall didnt take kindly, and decided to throw us all back into an area before blocking the exits with fire and unleashing a giant Zapdos. AHHH ALYSRAZOR, there you are.
So the knockback hurt, that was our first discovery. Healing up we took yet more damage from the boss flying through the middle. Note to self - dont stand in the Middle. Right! boss in the air and the fight under way our TopGun squad Grabbed there wings and went soaring. Meanwhile on the ground Death and Crouton spent there time killing yet more flower picking nightelves. Ok so these ones were using fire, but still. Killing off two of them me and Noriss positioned ourselves next to the eggs, as they hatched and imprinted on us. "No bird i'm a paladin, not your mother", this is where for me it gets really fun. The Imprint gives a 1000% damage buff to the target, so suddenly i started hitting for 500k. As we were flying up the dps charts, me and Noriss decided to race and see who could top the damage and Kill the birds quicker.
So with the healers keeping everyone up, the nightelves being slaughtered and the tanks on some sort of drug trip, it was up to the TopGun team to bring the bird down. TopGun consisted of Sapp, Maag and Modern. Mage power. Flying through rings they kept there buffs and sure enough the Bird flew down. If i remember here we Lost modern as with no order or rotation to the rings everyone was taking what they could to stay up, and unfortnatly we ran out of rings. Entering the Tornado Phase didnt go to well either. It began fine, until the tornados started Moving, at which Point people started getting caught out and we entered the Burn Phase with about 7 people alive. The burn phase went fine and then Alysrazor entered the regen Phase. And....... we all died. She hits HARD.
Ok so this was going to be a battle of survival through the Tornado's, Finding Rings to keep the TopGun team Alive, and Not dieing to the damage in the regen phase. right, ress up!
Attempt 2.
Oops. I erm, might have not been paying attention. I let a bird imprint on Pooki. Healer down. Game over 23 seconds into the fight.
Before we could all get back and Buffed up, hell some people were still Ghosts, Maag spotted a random feather still on the floor. Thinking it was bugged, and wondering what would happen if he picked it up, sure enough - he right clicked it. He got no wing stacks, but the boss had fried mage for breakfast.
Attempt 3.
OK. all buffed up and ready to roll i figured we'd stack againts a wall to avoid being knockbacked. It worked sortof. We still flew, but didnt take nearly as much damage. Ok! - Phase 1. With Death and crouton already on the nightelves it was down to me and Noriss to be ready for the birds. Imprinted and nuking we moved towards our first worms, hoping we didnt run out. Unfortunatly theres a point where worms dont seem to spawn and you HAVE to eat at least one tantrum. not fun. Still me and noriss enjoying our fix, we carried on. Before i new it the birds were dead, the TopGun team were grounded and the nightelves were gone aswell. the raid prepaired for the Tornados. Good start.
Tornados rolling people doged and ducked as the flyers tryed to Grab rings to keep there stacks high for haste and crit. the Raid survived wonderfully and the group entered the nuke Phase. Heavy damage done she dropped to 70% before the regen Phase and was down to 60% by the time she went back into Phase 1. Ok repeat time. The Healers topped everyone off as the Teams set about on there tasks once more. The second the Birds popped Noriss stated he was doing more dps than me. I'd like to point out the dps meter in the video, as it rises from 62k when he said it, to a total of 86k when my bird dies. :P Tbh though the fight was going well! noone dead and we entered the second tornado Phase. At this Point Modern got hit by some ungodly debuff from something and as Pooki tryed to save her, Modern fell. Only to be followed By Pook two seconds later as a tornado picked her up. I ordered a combat ress on Pooki (Sorry Sara) to get us back up to 3 healers.
Moving through the Regen Phase we began Phase 1 again. a few seonds in i ended up with two nasty debuffs and Crouton and Death cleared up the nightelf fires. With Both the tanks taking heavy damage, the healing was on,. we lost pooki a short while later and now it was 2 healers, boss on 20%, with Noriss also having a stack the healing pressure ramped up, and i got spammed by Pookis angel form. Sapp and Maag doing decent damage up abiove, Death and Crouton found themselves running to oposite ends as the nightelf spawns were nasty. Myself and Noriss discussed worm placements as the Raid pressed on. The 3rd tornado Phase hit with the boss at 8% and Players ran like hell to avoid tornados, hopeing to dilver the final few killing blows. Ignoring the Channelers we Nuked hard and the Raid cheered as down the bird went.

4/7 Gratz Guys.
But wait! THERE'S MORE.
Oh yes, With just under an hour still to go, we Headed to.
BALROG
Before we could engage we had to remove more trash, which was mostly standard stuff, but one was rather cool - a small fire elemental being powered up by 5 guys, until it became HUGE. lol.
ANYWAY - Trash down we stood before the gatekeeper. With 50 Mins to go, i explained how it worked to the best of my knowledge and in we went. Baleroc was an odd boss, and the first we had met in firelands without any adds. So simple tank and spank? Tank and Spank yes, Simple No.
Baleroc liked to stack a weird buff on the tank raising there damage by 20% each stack, but also there HP. ends up being kinda fun when you get to the Millions :P In the end it doesnt serve much purpose except to put pressure on healers. Now Balerock likes to enchant his weapons. Either decimation blade that hits for 90% of the tanks HP, or firey Blades which do 30-40% extra as fire damage. So the idea was to have the mass HP tank take the fire, and have the Off tank taunt for the 90% hits. Sounds simple except theres so many buffs and debuffs in this fight i got it the wrong way around, and Noriss with a Million+ hp took the 90% Hits. Sorry Healers.
Ontop of all this Crap the dps didnt get off lightly either. Baleroc spawns a crystal that channels a dot onto the nearest Player. it stacks and is NASTY. But we discovered healing these Players gives healer - yes thats right - ANOTHER BUFF. thus allowing them to heal the tanks. There are actually 4 more buffs and debuffs i havent mentioned because really there minor, but it gets fucking nuts.
SO.. Healers healing, dps rotating on crystals whilst Nuking, and Tanks taking the wrong hits. All good then.
Nearly... we Lost a some dps late in the fight to strange stacking, i thought it would be 2 crystals and it was only 1. then at 9% Noriss went down. Paniking i picked up the dude, but it wasn't enough and evenually we all fell with about 5-6% remaining.
Picking ourselves up, we changed the stratagy to only have 3 dps on the crystal, and let the others go nuts. Unfortunatly i still didnt change the damn tanks around. Fail i know. But Noriss high dodge and parry saved him a good many times. Burning through the HP the dps took the crystal perfectly and the healers really pressed forth with the buffs. Poor Noriss getting battered. We paniked at the last Min as we realised he didnt swap between the two enchantments, instead it was random and Noriss took two waves od Decimation in one :s.
Burning him down No1 died AT ALL. and Baleroc? FELL.
What a night. What a week. From 1/7 to 5/7 - Fucking Epic.
Congratz Guys, Congratz.

We attempted Fandral, and got him to 47% the same night, but left due to time. This week? The same 5 Bosses are dead - IN ONE NIGHT. and now? Fandral is all that stands between us, and RAG.
GG Bloodstriders, GG.

First off sorry for this being late, a lot has happened recently both in wow and IRL, so consider this my update for the moment, I'll try keep on top from now on :P
So this Tale begins a few weeks ago with a venture to the old hate that was Throne of the Four Winds.
Al'akir had left us miserable time and time again, and on the odd occasions we made it rng free through Phase one, we seemed to always wipe at 3-4%. I cannot tell you how many times the group tried and how many nights we felt like we'd been stood downwind of a fart for 3-4 hours. The whole place held a strange uneasy feel about it, so when tuesday came around and we decided to pug two and head for TotFW, there was an uneasy chill among guildys. And this is after the nerf. The closer we got to being ready the more people started to go silent and feel strange being here again. The council went down without an issue which is needless to say really, there less effort than a ZA/ZG these days. So there we stood. Al'akir, the last fight from that tier we had never done. It was a strange feeling really, as the raid turned back to how we used to be, the cold chills had gone and the lust for vengeance seems to grow. F'This I figured, I set everyone up and in we went.
Wipe.
REALLY?!
Ugh. Seems a few people didn't know the fight, or hadn't ever done it before. Ok so it seems I was too hasty in just rushing in. After explaining things I set people up again and we pressed forward. This time things went really easy and we discovered how much of a nerf the actual nerfs were. The rain in Phase 2 - didn't stack. wow. The damage in Phase 2 was less than an 80 hc. The healers stood around Bored just conserving mana as the rest of us proceeded to burn down the boss quick as. Reaching Phase 3 was interesting, and I mean that in the "How can nobody get P3 of Malygos" way of being interesting. still things went well and the guild sank slowly down Al'akirs form dropping his final few HP. 1-2 people died due to going out of range of healers or being in the clouds but other than = 0%.
So many tries before and finally Al'akir was dead. Nerf or not we didn't give a shit.
Phoenix's all round!

So onto the big news:
We just started the Road to putting out the Firelands.
A few Nights ago night, The Bloodstriders made an epic Firelands Raid, and as Old and Newcomers alike watched, we ventured forth into the heat.
What began as disgust towards Ryolith ended up as solid hate. The guild had well and truly had enough. Marching away we went 'hunting' and finally after killing what seemed like an incredible amount of Trash, Shannox decided to spawn.
As we watched Shannox walk the path around to us, I explained the fight. In theory the fight was simple - Kill his pets to Piss him off then Kill him. In practise though the fight was a little more difficult. Setting Noriss as a healer again (sorry man =[) due to recruitment being an arse on this server, I had Crouton Tank alongside me. It started off with me kiting the dog and Crouton having Shannox. This unfortunately didn't work at all and the dog proceeded to chew our heads off. Before Shannox speared Crouton into the floor.
Take 2.
This time we had a Plan, we set ourselves up so that crouton was tanking riplimb and focusing on his positioning, the idea was that he positioned riplimb over a crystal trap from shannox. Therefore getting the dog stuck. If timed well this did 3 things. It trapped the dog, allowing Crouton to take no damage and have his +damage debuff fall off. It also meant that when shannox threw his spear the dog couldn't return it, which in turn meant my damage stacks fell off. No stacks no incoming damage and! we used up a crystal Trap. Ok so that was set, and now we needed a plan for others. Talking to Modern and Sapp they figured Timewarp would be best left for Phase 3 when we couldn't drop the damage. Knowing that we decided to drop every dps we had on rageface. As he couldn't be tanked (I hate non threat table mobs) we needed to kill him FAST. So the idea was to blow up Rageface, then Kill Riplimb when Shannox was at 30%, and finally Shannox after Riplimb was dead. All the time moving to avoid traps and this is with me and Crouton kiting the boss and riplimb to the traps. I know what you're thinking, sounds easy.
Take 3.
Yeah we wiped. The theory was good. VERY good in fact. And tbh it worked, everything we wanted went off without a hitch. But we forgot something and it wiped us. Shannox fires Traps. What we didn't figure was exactly HOW MANY traps he'd be firing. We kinda ran out of room. Inevitably people got trapped, either becoming red ice blocks themselves or just blowing each other up. So we had a new theory.
Beginning as we had before the pull happened over by Beth'tilaks entrance and Crouton Grabbed Riplimb and I got Shannox. Rageface went for the nearest Clothy. We manoeuvered the 2 around Trapping Riplimb as often as we could and Rageface then died without an issue. Ok this is where we wiped last time, Time to move up the side of firelands to where there were no traps. A couple of times our stacks didn't quite clear as we did this, but nothing majorly bad. Ok trap free the next Job was to Burn shannox HARD until about 35%. Shannox enrages at 30% with anything else alive. So enraging him plus 1 dog was a bad idea. With Shannox at 36% I called the raid to nuke Riplimb, and whilst still trapping him to avoid as many stacks as we could, the group brought riplimb to death. Just in time to as the time it took to do that was just enough for me to bring Shannox down the 5-6% ready for the Enrage. Ok so this was it. By this Point I was Miles away in terms of threat and with the boss being untauntable everyone started transferring threat to Crouton in the case I died. Thankfully when we killed riplimb shannox was without his spear and it took a few seconds to recover it, thus allowing both the stacks of me and crouton to fall. Beginning on Shannox the raid popped time warp and blew up, the raid dps skyrocketed as we pressed the last 30% for the Kill. Blowing a few CD's on myself in rotation I managed to smooth the damage a bit, but as we neared the end I was taking a good 60%+ of my hp per hit. Crouton second on threat just in case, the raid dodged the Traps perfectly and avoided the fire damage from the 'hurl spear'. That was it. 0%
Shannox fell and the Raid and guild cheered. Finally our first Firelands Kill. After months of hating RNGolith we went and 3 shotted Shannox. We even had a good hour and a half to spare, but deciding to end on a high note we waved goodbye to firelands, our middle fingers held squarely at the flamerest temple. Rag, we're on our way.
So, Beth'tilak anyone?

Its been a long time since i've posted here, and i know many are Looking for me to upload something =]. Sorry for your wait guys.
Thankfully we did a little more than just 'something'. This past few Months have seen the upload of firelands and the guild have been grinding Dailys and rep on the hope of some new gear and epic storey lines. The Raid was just as interesting and we've pressed on in there despite being heavily Undergeared. I feel its rather daunting when all you hear about is guilds that have cleared it. What you have to remember is that people only speak of the top few guilds. These are guilds that are in full heroic gear and completely outgear the content - they dont even want half the drops O_o, That said after attempting boss 3 first (XD) we moved over to Ryolith. Ahh now this WAS interesting, a guild of people still with greens and blues and were actually making progress. Ryolith looks set to fall and we edge ever closer with each attempt. For the gear the majority of us wear thats pritty damn sweet. so Yh, Ryolith post soon!
But onto what we've been up to recently, in order to try and get some gear we've been running BWD, and we decided to go for the bosses we didnt manage last teir. ofc theres Only 2. which would be Nef and Al'akir. But before i get to nef, we have a few other epic things that happened.
Since most people are now looking for select peices of gear, people are coming on alts to fights where they dont need things. This saw us going with sapps tank DK - Rappio. Magmaw was weird as we had the most messed up Ranged team. with the raid stacked on one spot we had 2 ranged take on the adds, one wonky run later and we downed him and moved over to Omnitron. Omnitron went smooth and Sapps dk Proved extreemly Capable, even if toxitron Trapped him in a corner XD. Moving swiftly on (Bloodstriders keeping pace? XD) we headed for Chimeron. Oops someone attacked lol. Take 2 Chimeron - this went well and we hit the last Phase fine, Unfortunatly a few unlucky things and we messed up XD. Ok We got back, we 'Boofed' up, we downed him and moved on. And i contined my streak on never surviving Chimeron.
Next up was Atramedes, and this is where things went wonky in the most awesome way. Lining up for Atra the group dispatched the dwarfs and lined up to Pull, Noriss Ran forward and Threw Avengers Sheild. Then stopped. As the group began to attack and heal, i looked at Noriss and threat Meter. Yep - He'd DC'D. The split second he launched the sheild. My instant thought was to Hit Fightous fury and run infront of him. Manovering Atra into position i suddenly realised "WTF am i doing, Im ret". I think i actually said over vent, skrew it lets go for this. Mid button spamming i fumbled through my bags for my sheild and sword from prot spec. Equipping them i stood fast telling the healers i need spam healing. Sapp made a bet that if i did it i wouldnt have buy him a beer anymore. If we meet man I'll do it anyways, as i would with all of you. But my heart began to beat faster as the group dodged and ran from fires. 9 man with a ret tank. But with heavy dps and some epic healing we pressed on. Most of Atras attacks took me to 40-50% of my hp, and i was nuke healed back up before the next one. At about 50% sapp activated the recording sofware and started Filming, Hitting gongs and blinking, sapp took care of the big attacks while the rest of Us ducked and doged. Malishca got hit by a flame during kiting and went down, Bey yelled "Mal's dead, were gonna do this", Poor girl's death seems to be lucky 0_o. Hilarious to me XD. As the Hp went down Nyeth yelled about ressing me if i went down, and someone noted we'd already used the CR. I desperatly Fumbled saving Word of Glory for the Most heavy damage soaks, and trying to find someway of taking more damage without dieing. i thought about Bubbleing but decided against it. Fighting through the damage on the edge of my seat, and some epic Healign Later Atramedes Fell.
We 9 manned atra with a ret tank. Holy Shit.
After that awesomeness Noriss didn't return and we got Sapps dk in for Maloriak. Nyeth went tanking and we headed for the aclhemist.
Maloriak explained, we headed in. I interupted the aberitions, Malishca and Belle got the healing buff, and the rest interupted the storm. Going well we suddenly entered Phase 2. Before the second Green Phase. With no green Phase, there was No Buff, with no buff the adds wouldnt die, and an empowered Maloriak Blew us up.
Take 2 *Clap*, Same system as last time. We got to 30% and everyone stopped dps. Literally ppl stood there Dancing rather than dps. As we waited for Green Phase number 2, Nyeth kept tanking adds, and the healers healed away. Then finally the green Phase. The adds died fast and we pressed on with Maloriak hard. Nyeth picked up the two adds and held them at the back. Sapp got pinned between two firewalls, but quickly saved his ass from being burnt. A few seonds later Maloriak went down. and we Finally got a video for him, so if your interested in seeing us on Maloriak Check it out =]
So this was it. Most of us had never doen Nef before. Its gone Midnight and were all awake for some reason. Ressing Mjod after he died to Nefarians aura before wed even started, we then followed Sapp down as he picked up Onyxia. I waited for Nef to Land and Malishca and Fagha started on the Adds. The adds being a pain in ass and people not used to where to stand we wiped, as the adds raped the healers and dps, and nef and Onyxia flattened me and sapp.
Trying again we had Wist go bear and tank the adds to a corner with Mikro healing her. Mikro then headed Center and Wist Joined us on Nef. With belle healing sap, Mikro on the raid and Pooki with me we were Making it work well. Unfortunatly something went badly wrong and we wiped to an overload of damage, i think it was a crackle at the really wrong time. Pressing on again the group asked why we didnt just burn onyxia and leave Nef. I explained that we would be left with to much HP to burn in Phase 3, but we were taking to long On p1 anyways so something needed to happen. Switching to Onyxia got us into Phase 2, and everyone Made it to there Platforms well enough. Unfrotunatly what i figured happened, into Phase 3, and going well we wiped at 9% as the damage and adds got to much.
This time we decide to split the damage, we have everyone on Onyxia like last time, except bey who Nukes Nef with me, and when wist and Mikro had dealt with the adds they Joined us to. with the Mjority of dps on Onyxia and a few on Nef we got a good chunk of HP off. Phase 2 came and it was looking good. Everyone had made it to there Pillars and was dpsing the adds, Interupt time came and - we wiped.
Pooki accidentally, in what was one of the Most Hilarious wipes ive ever done, shared a quest by clicking the wrong button on her UI. That split second of "Oh whats this" from everyone, meant no one interupted the adds and we all got wasted. I laughed hard, first time i've been wiped by a quest, and the timing was amazing.
OK - Knowing we could do it we Buffed up and dropped down, Sapp turned Onyxia well, and the Raid Manovered into Phase 2 without an issue. Onyxia was down, Now for Nef. The Pillars went well as the teams Nuked the adds, and kept interupts flowing. Fagha took as much hp off neff as he could during this Phase and we entered Phase 3 comfortably. I picked up nef and held him center - quickly Marking bey for ppl to follow as they stood on the correct side. Sapp was at the Back with Belle as they Kited the adds around very nicely. With some odd fire for the melee to dodge the phase went well, and the Vent cheers were loud - Nef was down. We Took a picture and people said goodnight as they went to bed.
Lots of loot, 3 videos, a 9-man ret tank, and a new Kill. Fucking sweet Night. Thanks guys. =D
Next up? Al'akir...

Well Guys we all knew it was coming, Cho'gall was reached and eager as ever the guild began attempts the very same night we Killed Captin Planet. With that night ending on a 30% ish Kill, we called it and swore wed be back.
Back we did come, and our first Night saw us Wipe alot. We began well, with a 28% wipe. Lost a Tank. the rest of the night was awkward wipes while we realised how Awkward Cho'gall actually was. Remembering he was an end Raid boss we pressed on and ended that night with a few 25% and under attempts.
Night 2.
This went better and we started to Gain a real Understanding of the fight and peoples corruption stacks stayed low throughout. The majority of our wipes this night were due to small Mistakes and bad positioning. Unfortunatly, something simple usually ended up giving someone 30 corruption at 90%. With a good group of Players we made a few attempts under 25%, one getting to 14%. Hard as it was we were forced to leave it that night.
Getting frustrated with cho'gall and a few nights of no shows, the raids hadnt gone to far until one night were we had 10 ppl online. Unfortunatly 4 of them were either undergeared, or hadn't experienced cata raiding and were not used to it. Rather than go wiping on Cho'gall again, i took the desision to give us a loot run, with some added experiance thrown in. Plus we got to Kill soem bosses and shit started to feel good again.
The next Raid saw an interesting Lineup. Contemplating going BWD or TotFW again, i changed my Mind and thaught "fuck it, wheres cho'gall". So with the group we headed over to BoT.
Burning through Trash fast we had no issue getting to cho'gall and the first attempt of the night saw us take a 13% wipe. WoW was the thaught of the Raid, first try tonight after about a week of rest and we did that. Tensions grew as people started to see the Kill.
The next few had either some unfortunate issues or some simple connection Problems, and we kept wiping on the changeover to Phase 2. To much corruption or tenacles got us. Or we lost a healer unluckily. Thats 3 wipes right there. we also lost one Rather early to Sapp Being MC'd when he was supposed to take the adds. God Damn RNG.
Deciding this would work better on his druid, Kr switched over and Joined us as Randall. From this Point on we had MUCH better controll over the adds, the knockback was awesome and left us the time we needed. Plus it meant we had a margin for RNG errors such as sapp getting MC'd. Adds safe we perfected the Kite and interupt with a few switches and started seeing the 2nd Phase ALOT. After a few more goes we had the first Phase down, and usually no corruption. Not realising the time we kept pressing on and entering Phase 2 we healed the tanks like mad. Knowing the tentacles recude Healing we HAD to kill the Tank ones first. So with the Raid interupting the Tentacles we Pressured the boss hard. as we pressed on i could feel my stomach turn, and my heart slow watching the health drop. Tense moments followed and i watched as we JUST had the dps to Push this.
5%
3%
Lost a Healer and a Tank.
2%
Lost 3 dps and the Second Tank.
1%
Lost 2 dps and 2 Healers.
0.23%
Yeah, you read it right, 0.23% (I got out the calculator in the end, we finished on 79k, out of 35 Million = 0.226%)
under 79k hp left.
Absolutly Gutted we cursed and held our Heads from banging into our keyboards.
RIGHT. Bloodstriders tasting victory Marched through the Tunnels of BoT. Right into Respawns.
The general 'sigh' happened, and we cleared them fast wondering why this still happened, and if so why was it so fast. Surly 24 hours in a raid Blizz?
Still, We eat up, buff up and stand ready for a Kill.
So It began, I ran in to Take Cho'gall and Pulled him to the Center. As the dps blew through the first few chunks of his hp, me and Noriss switched to the kite. The add ended up at the back of the stairs and died in record time, and we all fled back leaving sapp and randall to clean up the mess. Back on the boss i rushed to take Cho'gall from a now debuffed Noriss. With Poor Sapp getting MC'd nearly everytime, we pressed on down the HP. With sapp, Randall, me and Bey at the back with Shift; and the other healers up by Noriss and Wistala, you can see Modern expertly doging Shadow Crashes in the Middle. Not easy when your Arcane Spec. As Bey sprinted back for the second time, his charge zooming past me onto Cho'gall. I ran through Modern and Shao, who by now was stood by Belle, and the were both keeping Noriss and the Raid up. As Shift returned we got the usualy breather during the Fire Phase as we waited for the next Add. No corruption. So far so good. From some where a few people gained 10 Corruption, and I'm still not sure how. We Blasted through the Third adds with No issue and the fourth came. We Paniked slightly due to Sapp once again being Mc'd, Randall let them as far as he could before knocking them all the way back as sapp returned to help Nuke them down. Adds down, we about-faced and headed to push Cho'gall into Phase 2. Asking Noriss to grab the add we pushed into P2 and the add despawned b4 Noriss reached it. The first tentacles spawned and we popped Bloodlust. Trageting me the add was interupted by Wistala fast, who stun locked it, and the far one burned by Sapp. As the dps pressed on we left Bey on the Boss to Go Nuts. In the hope we could rid ourselves of the last 0.226%. Noriss Taunted and i moved to taking the adds. The healing in this Phase was Incredible as Belle and shao threw expert Chain heals and the raid cycled through cooldowns like healing Rain. Going through another Tenticle Phase we kept it steady and i stood stunning, silenceing and interupting what adds i could with Wistala, while the dps burned them down. Wist's add died and the dps focused the last one before returning to the boss. Taunting off Noriss I looked with a smile as Bey's damage went up and up, and the control from the other dps couldnt have been better. Taking nearly no damage at all from Cho'gall Noriss went after the adds, and i took over. Me and Noriss managed to keep our cooldowns rolling and healing like mad to Gain any advantage we could. With corruption in the Mid 40 range people started to spread and we watched Cho'gall fall below 10%. Im sure i'm not the only one who began to breath heavy as i watched the guild Push everything to head for that Kill. With The boss Hitting 7% I watched Noriss take the Beams off 3 adds and saved me having one. As the healers spammed me i cursed as my Cooldowns went and i Literally ran out of things to do, Hoping for lucky dodge's and Parrys, i put my Faith in the Raiders and held my breath. At 3% I fell, An unlucky Hit with no block dodge or parry brough me down, at the same time as i gained a shit load of healing from all 3 healers at once, the total healing mustve been very close to cancelling the Hit. Realising i was down Noriss Grabbed Cho'gall with his Debuffs, and gave an extra second or two for the dps, The raiders gripped there mice as we all yelled "Nuke it, finish it". We Lost Shift, Bey and Wistala at the exact same time as..
CHO'GALL WENT DOWN.
As a Pluss, the second he died the Clocks Read 23:30, Raid End XD.
The vent cheers were Huge, and we sat happy and proud. And rightly so, Bastion of Twilight was Complete, Paving the way for Al'akir and Nefarian.
Congratulation Bloodstriders, Amazing Night.

Captain Planet is down and the World is Saved... Wait. Wha?
Last Night the Bloodstriders got back into the swing of things with the desire Kill the dreaded Capain Planet (this is making me giggle as i write it).
After giving us so many issues before we decided to focus on BWD, but now with only Nef Remaining we came back. Abit more gear, abit more determination, and alot more skill. The group began strong with a wipe around 50% 2-3 people hadnt seen him before and we were desperate to get stuck in. After one wipe people had seen the mechanics and graphics and the fight was no on. The planeteers took no prisoners and our first attemt saw us get caught out by the fire wall hitting me instead of a dps. the increased distance resulted in a few iceblocks and we gave that try a 'oops' and came back for more. Beginning attaempt two we enters Phase 2 with both ignatious and feludius on 25% health, a perfect Transition. the second Phase was all about controlling your debuff to avoid the super. Panicing every 30 seconds or so as some ran to edge i tanked Terrasta around the room best i could. tho you can see my dangerously timed lagg spike when he first appears, and he nearly beat the crap out of a dps. moving well the group made it through this Phase with a little bit of odd hp balance, one on 30%, the other on 24%. In the end this Phase proved to much and we cursed as we realised if we had gotten the hp correct on Phase two we would have Killed him then. Picking ourselves up and coming back we went again. perfect exection but dodgy health levels left us in the dry and a 9% was miles off. 5th time lucky we moved in, the hp was good and we pressed forward into Phase 3, with everyone alive we Popped BL and Nuked like hell, Noriss and me Kited him around the room avoiding the water puddles while the dps Burned him, a couple of hairy moment later and we lost a few to lava seeds, which then meant we lost a few more and the whole think snowballed. 1%.
This was it, we'd had enough. No more of this 1% crap, No more mr nice Bloodstrider. The guild Pressed on into the battel and Nuked hard, the First round saw Us loose wistala to an unlucky combination of my lag and a hydro lance. After the sheild was down we combat ressed her balancing out the dps again. with Ranged switching targets as will to try and keep health level we entered a chaotic Phase two at 25%. Two Planeteers down. Arion and Terrastra left little to the imagination and we struggled forward getting beat upon by these two. 25%, I smiled as i saw the last 2 Planeteers fall. Incase your wondering where the Planeteer of 'Heart' went? I have no idea, and i HOPE TO GOD BLIZZARD it has nothing to do with him being the black guy in the cartoon. That confusion aside, we watched Captin Planet form and took our Positions. Burn him we yelled as people dodged fire and water. Unfortunatly Wistala died and i paniked realiseing wed have to 9 man the last few %. If we couldnt 10 man it what chance did we have of 9 manning it? EVERY CHANCE i thaught as i remembered the raiders i faugh alongside. As the electricity built up the hp fell, lower and lower. 5%, this was looking good and we were still high on Hp, you could see the lightning overwealming the healers as we lost one, then another, keep going we yelled, as it fell to 2%. 1%.
YEAH! Down he fell, and the floor shook as he disolved into his Belt. We did it. Captain Planet is down.

And the Loot?... ...was shit.
lol A healing healm to Noriss on OS, and a dps cloak to me on OS. Smooth Captin Planet. Real Smooth.
Still, The awesome picture was taken and the guild cheered as we headed for Cho'gall. Captin Planet was DOWN and now nothing stand between us and the Final 3.
Not to dwell on it, but ill also quickly mention the cho'gall attemps as i was considerably impressed considering the fight being so new to us, a couple of 70-80% wipes and we Managed Cho'gall to 35% on attempt 3. Epic considering. we left it there and vowed to return next Raid.
Cho'gall, Nefarian, Al'akir! - were heading your way!
Gratz Bloodstriders, damn good Job.

As Sapp Put it:
" 1st of all, i don't remember how many times we've killed this already, and there's no video of it 'cause there really isn't much to see on only 1 platform. So i'm here to change that just for the viewers on 1 single run :) "
